On the third floor of the Sovereign Centre shopping mall, this establishment, with its shiny black-lacquer chairs and views of the Blue Mountains, garners rave reviews for its Cantonese and Thai menu. Favorites include steamed fish in black-bean sauce, black mushrooms stuffed with shrimp, and shrimp with lychee. Dim sum is served every Sunday afternoon.
Blue Mountain Inn
- The elegant Blue Mountain Inn is a 30-minute taxi ride from New Kingston and worth every penny of the fare. On a former coffee plantation, the antiques-laden inn complements its English colonial atmosphere with Continental cuisine.
